20 October

Oran + Elena

A GARDEN IN FULL CEREMONY | SPRING - OCTOBER | 105 GUESTS | THE CEDAR LAWN

The day unfolded the way light does in spring — soft at first, then generous. Elena arrived in a sleek strapless ballgown, her floor-length veil trailing behind her across the lawn where ornamental pears stood in fresh leaf, a towering cedar overhead, and a clipped hedge held the ceremony in quiet. The outdoor reception tables, set in long parallel rows at golden hour, were dressed in chalk linen and kept deliberately simple: single white ranunculus in slender vases, clusters of green grapes tumbling beside hurricane glasses holding ivory taper candles. By nightfall, festoon lights flickered overhead. The Homestead watched it all from the rise, unhurried.
