A QUIET GATHERING BENEATH THE FIG | WINTER - AUGUST | 116 GUESTS | THE GOVERNOR'S LAWN
Beneath Gabbinbar’s ancient fig, its branches laced with staghorn ferns, Patrick waited for Renee in navy, a rose gold watch at his wrist. She came to him in a softly flowing gown with sheer bishop sleeves, a small horseshoe charm fastened at her waist and fresh flowers tucked beneath her long veil. Framed by blush roses, magnolia and white stock, they exchanged vows in the dappled afternoon light, then left together beneath falling petals. That evening, fairy lights glowed through the Conservatory. In the Ballroom, beneath the crystal chandelier, Renee and Patrick held each other through their first dance, surrounded by live music and the people who loved them most.
