Wedding Venues Ravensbourne Queensland

Where your love story begins.

Become a part of a generations-long legacy of celebration

The drive out from Brisbane takes about 90 minutes. Through the valley, up onto the Range — and if you're making a day of it, out through Esk and the tall timber country near Ravensbourne before you arrive. Far enough to feel like you've left the world behind. Close enough that you haven't.

First-time visitors often say they didn't think places like this still existed. We understand why. There's something about arriving here that's hard to put into words — and even harder to forget.

A 160 year old award-winning estate, Gabbinbar is one of Queensland's most celebrated places to get married — and once you've seen it, it's easy to understand why couples travel from Brisbane and beyond to be here.

Sitting on the Range, Gabbinbar runs noticeably cooler than Brisbane and the coast — a relief for outdoor ceremonies, and part of what gives the estate its particular character. The lawns stay green naturally through every season, the tall trees hold their shade, and it's the flowers that mark the turning of the year — quietly, without making a fuss about it. Mornings on the Range can be misty; afternoons tend to clear.

CEREMONY

Four distinct outdoor ceremony locations sit within the estate's gardens, each with its own character. Some couples are drawn to dappled light filtering through old trees. Others want open sky and the sweep of the Range. There's no wrong answer — only the one that feels like yours.

The Pavilion. The Governor's Lawn. The Cedar Lawn. The Woods.

For couples who want to be outdoors but not at the mercy of the weather, there's also a beautiful weather-protected outdoor ceremony option — so the plan stays intact regardless of what the sky is doing.

Professional immersive sound carries your ceremony across the gardens without effort, and as it concludes, waitstaff line up to welcome your guests into what comes next.
