Toowoomba in summer is not Queensland in summer. The temperatures are cooler, the humidity lower, and the days — more often than not — are warm, blue-skied, and genuinely comfortable. At Gabbinbar it's peak flower season: the gardens are at their most abundant, the colour is everywhere, and if you're lucky, so are the butterflies.
It's the most popular season here for good reason. The estate's gardens are mostly shaded by a green canopy that keeps guests cool without closing off the sky. Large umbrellas dot the front lawn when the ceremony ends. The gelato ice cream is served under a shady tree. A Pimm's station appears, as it should.
Temperatures move from 18 to 30°C across the day. Plan your ceremony time with that range in mind and the rest takes care of itself.
When you select Gabbinbar as your wedding venue, we grant you exclusive access to the entire estate. You can choose to celebrate your wedding in The Woods or within the walls of our history-enriched homestead.
